The weather lately will leave most of us convinced that global warming is the cause. The content of the articles on this topic in this issue show how far we have come since I started teaching but also how far we still have to go.

This month's issue contains articles on the theme of AI.

The editor of MET discusses the importance of grammar and vocabulary.

Whether you are a grammar lover or not, I am sure you will get a lot from this issue; as ever there are new looks at old issues and some completely up-to-date observations on classrooms around the world.

The theme of this issue is professional development (PD) and what the teachers are doing here is one very intensive form of it.

How do you have ideas? Do we all have them, but some people don’t share them? You will find activities designed to encourage critical thinking throughout this month's magazine.

The theme of this issue is approaches, and I suppose to teach the expression used in my example a functional approach would be a possible start.

This issue had the theme of ‘young adults and secondary teaching’ but, to be honest, so many of the articles come from that context that I have decided to give them more specific sub-themes to make it easier for you to find your way around.
